You couldn’t have missed the fact that I’ve been posting a chapter a day of my vampire themed urban fantasy/paranormal romance novel The Deviant. We’ve almost reached one half of the novel posted online, and I’m very proud to announce:
My first novel, The Deviant, is now available for sale!
The Deviant is available from:
- Amazon
(including Amazon UK and Amazon CA)
- Barnes & Noble
- Kindle Store
- Nookbook eBook Store
- iBookstore
- Available at assorted online retailers and as a special order in some bookstores.
Note that the hyperlinks to physical copies of the book link to the paperback copy of the book. But I’ve also released a really nice hardcover edition as well:
As you can see by the two banner links, the prices more or less drop by 50% depending on format:
- Hardcover: $19.99
- Paperback: $10.99
- eBook: $4.99
(Sellers may have their own discounts; for example, Barnes & Noble has a slight discount on the hardcover edition currently)
I’m a firm believer in giving you an opportunity to “browse” the book before buying it, so on the Giveaways page, you can download a PDF or eBook of half the book (chapters 1 – 21). The eBook exerpt is also available from the Goodreads listing for The Deviant (you can choose to read it inside Goodreads web browser). And as ever, you can go to The Deviant page of my website to read chapters online.
Please give away the free PDF and eBook to anyone anyone you think might be interested. There’s no restrictions or copy protection on any electronic text of mine. In fact, even the Kindle and Nookbooks are free to loan out, and there’s no DRM of any kind on any of the commercial eBooks.
Finally, let me note that as an independent novelist, I don’t have a marketing budget and international publisher behind me the way I do with my music technology books. In other words, all of you who enjoy my fiction—you are my marketing department. If you like what I’ve written, please tell everyone you know. Please leave positive reviews with online retailers like Amazon.com, at Goodreads, on Facebook, Twitter, wherever you can. There will be no magazine articles, New York Times reviews, or the like, only whatever blogs and online mentions I can hustle and word of mouth. So if you like The Deviant, please help me spread the word.
Thanks, and enjoy!
